Family Harvest Festival is Set for Oct. 6

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The season’s most anticipated event, Bethany Family Harvest Festival, will be Oct. 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bethany Airport on Route 63. Activities include free children’s rides, mechanical bull, tractor pulls, barrel racing, a magician and clown, petting zoo, Fun Run, live music, Gymkhana (equestrian) games, free food and much more! Admission is FREE to Bethany residents with a nominal fee for out-of-towners.

It is a wonderful way for businesses, civic organizations and the people of Bethany to come together and celebrate the wonderful community of Connecticut’s #1 Small Town!

Organizers are seeking sponsors for some of the many activities.

  • A “sponsorship” is a donation of $250 or more. The name of your business will be advertised in all of our marketing materials and a table can be provided to showcase you business.
  • “Activity Sponsor” sponsors one of the many activities. We will advertise your name as the activity sponsor. A table will be provided to showcase your business. These sponsors must provide staff to man the sponsored activity.
  • Reserve a Space to “Showcase your Business/Craft.” For a donation of $25 we will advertise your name in our program. A table will be provided to showcase your business/craft. This fee is waived for nonprofit organizations.
  • Residents can also make a donation of $25 or more to be a “Fan.”

Volunteers are needed to help staff the day of the event. This is a great way to meet your customers and neighbors.

Sponsors are needed for: Rat Race, Mechanical Bull Rides, Amber Alert, Arcade-to-Go, Fried Dough, Small Moon Bounce, Fun Run, Popcorn, Snow Cones, Cotton Candy, Coffee and Munchkins, Pie Baking Contest, Fall Photo Contest, Kids Decorating Pumpkins Contest.
